Ágrip: We will discuss several approximation operators and how they can be used to show the regularity of certain extremal functions from pluripotential theory. The tools behind these operators include integral convolution, infimal convolution, and supremal convolution. These operators are developed with the aim of maintaining the growth properties of the function they act on.
