Ágrip: In this talk, I will introduce myself as a new member of the Faculty of Physical Sciences and provide an overview of my research in mathematics education; focusing on task design, teacher noticing, the use of technology for formative assessment, and teaching practices that require students to think. Teacher noticing is a field specific notion that refers how teachers attend to, and make sense of, students’ mathematical thinking and reasoning.
