Ágrip: Various observables of maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory (N=4 SYM) in four dimensions can be determined exactly, relying on their conjectured integrability or on supersymmetric localization. This led to the speculation that this theory could be entirely solved. I will spell out the motivations for such an endeavour, reviewing recent progress towards this goal. I will finally conclude sketching my personal contributions in the perturbative determination of three-point functions of local operators.
